Steubenville Youth Conference 2012

Steubie Update: April 10

Greetings!

Happy Easter Season! Spring is officially here and that means summer is right around the corner. Here are some updates regarding the Steubenville 2012 trip.

1. Final Payments are Due April 22, 2012. Please make your check payable to "St. Andrew" and bring it to the youth office NO LATER than Sunday, April 22, 2012. (The sooner, the better). Most of you still owe $150 ($200 less the $50 deposit).

2. Forms
There are a number of permission/consent/medical forms that you need to complete and return to me by April 22nd. I will have them for you at CREDO this Sunday night.

3. Transportation
We are looking into transportation possibilities. Unfortunately, we did not BUDGET the necessary $3200 to rent a large motor coach this year (I didn't realize it was so much...!) We are looking into alternatives and possible fundraisers. We would like to meet and discuss this AFTER CREDO this weekend, April 15th. Please plan to stay for a few extra minutes (for about 20-30 minutes TOPS) to discuss ideas/suggestions, or forward your ideas, comments to me beforehand.

This summer, we will once again be taking a trip to a Steubenville Youth Conference at the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Steubenville, Ohio!

Cost: $200 includes lodging, meals, and transportation ($50 deposit due by December 31)
Where: The Franciscan University of Steubenville in Steubenville, Ohio
When: Friday, June 29 - Sunday July 1, 2012
Transportation: Has yet to be determined; cost is included in your fee
Theme: The Eighth Day.

What is a Steubenville Youth Conference

You can think of a Steubenville Youth Conference as a giant retreat, with 2000 high school students in attendance! There will be Mass, Reconciliation, Eucharistic Adoration, praise and worship time, fantastic talks, small groups led by your favourite CREDO leaders, and more!
